Whiteghyll going green

Whiteghyll is going green

Following several years of waste segregation and recycling, using in-house procedures, the Directors have decided to take a more formal and documented approach to the way it handles the impact the company may have on the environment. The company believes that continuous improvement in environmental management is an essential element within its overall business plan – minimising waste, consumption of resources and pollution goes hand in hand with increased productivity and quality standards.

The company is implementing an Environmental Policy to drive forward improvements in the environmental performance of the business; and it is intended that all company employees are made aware of this decision and encouraged to fully support this initiative. The documented system is designed to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004 and it is anticipated the company will achieve certificated compliance.
