It is time for the World Cup and you may have guessed that here at Whiteghyll we are getting into the spirit.
The sweep-stake has taken place and would you believe it, the MD picked out Spain!
However, to spread the winnings the losing team will take home some of the cash.
So, although we would love to see the World Cup coming home to England, the chance of winning the cash jackpot here has some of the Whiteghyll team abandoning their patriotic spirit and silently praying for another country to win the tournament!! For the good of the country, let us hope that those prayers are not answered.
